After reading book about Ancient China and reading manga, anime, and british books I have been very fond of drinking tea in an addictive way. I've always like coffee though.

We just like trying new things because when they are presented to us in the way of entertainment we like we seem to want to try it. As long as it's not harmful it's fine.

I also tried pocky because of manga.

My parents brought me up on chinese dubbed anime, it was always a given thing so i never really copied the tv show

since my parents bought me pocky and made me start drinking tea from a V. young age. Jasmine tea mostly. I drink green tea, but my body can't really take green tea.

So, no, i didn't really need to copy any anime or manga for that matter.

I've always been drinking tea. Im more for Kocha then ocha though. Oh, how nerdy of me... I mean black tea instead of green ;<.

Well how do you drink the tea then?

Sometimes I use milk in it, but never sugar. Tastes like crap then.

iv'e always drunken tea......like my whole family has ever since i was little.......i didn't know there were people who didn't drink hot tea. i mean i knew that there were people that didn't like tea... but are you saying that you didn't know about hot tea until you started watching anime?

I didn't really start, but I felt a lot more normal because I would have Jasmine Tea with my lunch in a thermas(sp?) and people would look at me weird and all of that. But....I was kinda grown on it cause my grandmother lived in Japan when she was little and it stuck to her.

I'm not the biggest fan of warm drinks (Except hot chocolate. =3 I have a chocolate ADDICTION.), so I didn't even start drinking tea. I tried it a few years ago, but it had no taste, so I couldn't drink it again.
I might think about trying it again, though...

Not to mention, my mom drinks coffee, so I'd be more likely to drink coffee. But that tasted bad, too...

So, to answer the question, no, I haven't.

I drank lots of tea when i was young but know i hardly drink. I drank green tea in a bottle and it tasted aweful.

Im English so I've always drunk tea, its my favourite drink.
