Izakaya to Shabu-Shabu!
I LOVE Shabu shabu xD but the line is always so damn long....
anyway has anyone been to an authentic Izakaya (japanese pub) in America? or outside of Japan for that matter... I went to one yesterday in Santa Monica. My friend turned 21 yesterday so we celebrated his birthday there and he told me it was pretty authentic to the ones in japan. Anyway the atmosphere was very interesting and most of the bartenders speak limited english! So different from a Korean bar. Korean bars (sool-jib) are full of loud obnoxious drunk Korean guys lol i still like it though. |
