vegetarian japanese food?
 
hello i am vegetarian is there alot of vegetarian options in japan? or will i starve there XD

What kind of Vegitarian are you? do you not eat cheese/fish or just not meat?.

i hope you like rice dude. cuzz theres alot of that in japan. and fish and veggies is almost all they eat. mainly becuase, the sea is their #1 food source.

Well they have alot of rice and tofu made food, you eat Tofu I love Tofu its really good my favorite is Vergitarian Dry Noodles. Its noodles with tofu its really good not like ramen though but better.

They even have these Sushi sort of things but instead of Sushi it has cheese and eggs replacing the fish which is pretty good.

If you eat cheese, you won't be called a vegetarian in Japan.

dashi is made from bonito flakes and kombu...
bonito is a kind of fish...

that's true, if you buy premade, or at restaurants. but's it's really easy to make at home, with just miso paste and optional spices...
