you have too first get some rice vinegar~
add some kombu (seaweed), sugar, salt, and ...
ka-tsu-o, or bonito flakes too it x]
boil, then strain~~

katsuo/bonito is a type of fish that is usually dried then shaved and then teh shavings are used in almost EVERY soup in japanese cuisine x]
