Yummy! And very easy to make. I have never tried wrapping it in omelette, but it sounds delicious. I tend to eat rice plain, often cooked with a little salt, or, if not, mixed with sake, sugar and salt after it's cooked - so sushi rice. |
Oh, I somehow managed to mention that my usual favourite is simply white rice sprinkled with a little more gomashio than is good for the arteries. Is gomashio considered a type of furikake?
|
I love white rice with broccoli and garden burger meatless bbq riblets. It's sooo yummy!!! :rheart:

By gomashio, I hope you're using the black goma type, which tastes much better than white goma. |
How do you eat your white rice?

usually plain. sometimes the southern usa in me puts butter and salt on it. and sometimes, when i'm at my boyfriend's mom's house, i'm forced to eat it with beans a.k.a. arroz con habichuelas .
|
about the only 'southern' thing i do to white rice .. and it is rarely ... is butter ... and Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning on it ... mmmm spicy!
|
I find soy sauce on rice to be repulsive. I'll use furikake if I actually have some lying around, but otherwise I just prefer mine plain. An egg is okay, too.
