SHAD0W 02-26-2009 12:34 AM

Best be trollin'

Koir 02-26-2009 12:42 AM

I've tried it, and while it's an interesting product I'd much rather prefer Cadbury Burnt Almond.

SHAD0W 02-26-2009 12:46 AM

THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT CADBURY BURNT ALMONDS

Since theres more threads labout pocky than I've had hot dinners.
Would a mod please change the title?

Topic: We don't have CADBURY BURNT ALMONDS in England, what are they like?

Ryuk999 02-26-2009 01:06 AM

i didnt know a burnt almond tasted good lol
wut are those like as SHAD0W asks, im quite interested

Koir 02-26-2009 01:10 AM

I'm not even sure if it's just Marketing, but Burnt Almond is one of the varieties of "higher end" Cadbury chocolate bars. There's Fruit & Nut and Dairy Milk as well, all sharing the same package design elements. I just remember my older brothers having them back in the past, so lately when I'm deciding on what to have, I pick that.

Not all that exotic, I know. But it works for me.

I think we've got something like that in the states. They're sold in like trail mix, and grain bars and stuff like that.

survivingonrice 02-26-2009 09:46 PM

Cadbury chocolate is okay...but my favo. candy bar would have to be...TWIX!! well...is twix considered a candy bar?....or a cookie bar?...

It's both!

Ryuk999 02-27-2009 11:39 PM

either way twix is awesomely delicious!

ShotaMeister 03-03-2009 06:11 PM

I've always thought Pocky was highly overrated. It's not super-delicious, or super-special or rare, etc, etc...It's all in the image. People (namely otaku) only eat it to look "cool". Unless you're one of the few who actually find it to be yummy.

Pexster 03-03-2009 07:42 PM

I think it is yummy, but i don't think it's the best.
(but just good enough to statisfy a craving, and enough to roll on a floor.)

But there is this one thing called 'Yan, Yan' but it the same, but it's great.

I love choclate.

But anyhew, yes, it's just they way people say it and make it
Obvious that it isn't rare or that great. like @ShotaMeister said. :D

Yan-Yan is probably the best Japanese candy I know of. Pocky wise, the only ones thst I think are worth a mention are the milk flavored.

Probably the worst Japanese snack I've tried would be shrimp flavored chips. Kindly gross.

LOL yeah, they are good. Xd

LOL yeah that does sound gross. I guess seafood and candy don't match.

survivingonrice 03-03-2009 10:27 PM

yeah ive tried shrimp flavored chips and didn't like them...but for some reason all my flilipino friends are addicted to it...

Pexster 03-03-2009 10:34 PM

lol thats funny.

they sound gross, but i should give them a try. I think, Should I?

PockyMePink 03-03-2009 10:38 PM

GentlePrincessJC 03-03-2009 11:30 PM

What Pocky? or That shrimpy stuff?

ShotaMeister 03-05-2009 07:48 PM

I've tried that Yan-Yan stuff, it tastes delicious no matter what flavor it comes in. Strawberry and chocolate are my favorites.
As for Japanese snacks I don't like, I can't stand shredded, freeze-dried squid. It's disgusting and chewy and salty, plus I still can't believe I spent five dollars on a package. Totally over-priced! >.<
