Sea Food in Japan?
Hello
I would like to Know do you like Sea food from Japan? I hate Sea food. I don´t like it! I hope you say your opinion to this topic! Thanks ^_^:rheart: |
Seafood is seafood... I grew up in Alaska and we're famous for our Salmon- so it kind of comes naturally.
Same with the Japanese, who were infatuated with the idea that every summer I throw away POUNDS of salmon eggs... To me, sushi tastes almost fruitlike- and anything fried is fine with me! But clams and things without eyeballs tend to freak me out. |
Oh i love clams! Fried, in the shell, in soup they are all good.

Why would you make a thread about something you hate?

I eat seafood from everywhere. Not picky.
I love fish and seafood in general. <3 |
Seafood is easily damaged during transportation. Without complete logistics, people can not enjoy seafood.
If you want to talk about "seafood from Japan", you must check how the seafood transported to your location. Or try seafood in Japan! |
I hate seafood also. It's pretty grody.
|
It is gross some times it depends on if it is fresh which you can tell because it won't smell fishy but like the ocean. I have seen footage about the giant fish market in japan where people sell tuna that is like 300 pounds. It looked pretty cool.

*general rule: don't trust ANYthing from the Gulf of Mexico* and i really do pity those that have a disdain for seafood >.>'' either because they've yet to truly experience all the delicacies the waters have to offer... or they've had the sad misfortune of tasting some really really really nasty products >.>'' |
I have had the unfortunate experience of eating under cooked scallops from a japanese grill and getting food poisoning. I was misreable for a week. But I still eat fish im just not going back there againlol
|
I'm a fan of squid, and almost every kind of fish. I really prefer my fish to be just properly cooked, and not fried or baked. However! ...Kalamari is where it's at.

My grandmother on my dads side is allergic to shellfish.
Anyway I love most seafood. Don't like oysters though. And since squid is being mentioned I'll say this. Squid tastes so good. |

Their is no way I could eat a muscle, abalone, octupus, squid, oyster, crab or Lobster. I draw the line at fish and even that is a very thin one.. It's the thought, rather than the taste that put's me off.. My partner LOVES all seafood especially the slimy variety in shells.. |

I like sea FoOod !!

If anybody is in Japan and likes seafood, go to Hiroshima. It's full of culinary delights there. It's right on the coast so very fresh. It's healthy and helped me to get to a good weight. Seafood in Japan is amongst the best in the world. Croatia too.
