Natto

Hi ,
I live in China, I want to buy natto, and find this brand
Natofemin PA, it is only sold on net. Is it a famous brand and good one and safe to buy from net?

Thanks a lot!

Isn't Natofemin PA a suppliment rather than real natto?

You want to buy natto? I thought they paid people to eat it. Yuck!:ywave:

Your comments about things Japanese are almost always predictable. :ywave:

I like most Japanese food. I don't know too many Japanese that like natto. I guess it's an acquired taste. I like menudo (a Mexican soup), but most people don't. To each their own.

Natto is living food as well as natural cheese or yogurt.
You could not buy on net unless cool delivery is available.

Between the two of us, someone would go broke!
Don't even need anything with it, though the mustard is a nice touch.
;)

Speaking of this, I am getting frustrated trying to find natto in decent quantities. The various Asian grocers around her sell the usual frozen three-pack serving, or even smaller snack sizes. But in the restaurant where I learned to love it, the natto came in what looked like one pound bags. Anyone know to get commercial quantities like that?

That is a pill with natto extract in it. At a dollar a pill (2 pills per day), something smells very fishy to me.

Wow someone who wants to try Natto... After reading about it and seeing pictures of it. Im not interested in trying it.

Been there, done that. Japanese people think I can't stand the smell.

Nope, it's that I don't eat things with the texture of slime. I'm not on an episode of Double-Dare, thanks.

I also don't eat fish that still have eyes. I'm sorry, but I'd rather not look at food that is looking back at me.

It can be messy and stringy. But it is far removed from the texture of slime, though it looks like it would be extremely slimey. Its is sticky - sticky like cobwebs when you accidentally disturb one. At least once it is mixed with rice the strings are less of a problem.
