Hatredcopter and Rozurainbow, I will take all your ume, in all forms.
It is my absolute favorite after certain types of roasted seaweed or plain steamed rice. Generally, the only things I find objectionable are uni and durian. But now I have even had one serving of uni that was not thoroughly replusive. Since I am not sure that durian is even really Japanese, there may not be anything in Japanese cuisine I truly dislike. I could live without udon, but with the right sauce and such, even that can be appreciated. I just don't care for the texture that much,a dn vastly prefer soba. |
None.
I'll eat any Japanese food. If I don't like something a bit, I'll adapt to it. :vsign: |

Uni (sea urchin)... has lots of flavor... and once in the mouth the combination of aroma and flavor was overwhelming in the worst sort of way.

can't quite place my finger on it.. but the taste of it makes me nauseous... =.=''' |
I'm currently trying to acquire a taste for Wasabi, much in the same way I had to force myself to like coffee at first (long, long ago). Does anyone else think wasabi tastes a bit like spicy toothpaste? I wouldn't say I dislike it right now, but I certainly don't like it.
