Can you make less bitter (other cover it in sugar) ?
I liked the previous Daikon that I cooked in Soup but the one I have now is so bitter with that pungent smell. I am trying frying it and then putting in soup to see how that works. |
Boil for 20-30 minutes in the water in which rice has been washed. Then transfer it to the soup you are making.
