Fugu would only be available at high-end sushi restaurants or fugu restaurants. In Japan the chef has to have a special permit to serve it (at least I heard that). I don't ever remember seeing it in the US.

Fugu (to me) was actually pretty good.
Though I was afraid to try it at first....then my mom started throwing it at me and made me eat it,lol

Any how, it is quite good....though it is a scary thought that you could die from eating it O__O

eat McDonald's hanburgers..If you remember..the US consists of several ethnic groups..I am Mexican and when I go to McDonald's..I buy a salad..I prefer my kind of food which is MExican or Asian like Vietnamese, Thai, or Japanese but in these parts Japanese or their food is hard to come by....I hate the way most of the world stereotypes Americans..we are all different...

hahaha it's delicious.. and not as bad as you think. as with the picture above, japanese don't see how americans can eat so much fast food. yes, we are the fattest people on the planet because of our diets and the fact that americans are lazy.

well i dont know about fugu are deadly or not, but my dad eat them when he comes to japan, and he comes back alive :)

Well I don't think its weird that they eat Fuugu. Its just another thing to add to the menu. Plus chefs must know how to prepare the food before they serve it. I mean look at Americans and how they eat hotdogs!

Everybody gets stereotyped, not just America. Most Americans think Dutch people still walk around on clogs, and that all Dutch people are avaricious.

By the way, I don't think it's weird Japanese people eat fugu. I'd never do it because of the risk, but I'm just a chicken xD But I acutally think it'd taste quite well.
