basic simple japanese
here, it would be nice if you could learn simple japanese, for example-
Usoku= promise yushi= yummy so I thought that this would be a really interesting thread to easily learn some basic japanese! /i apologise if there is a simaler thread/ |
sure although I've never heard of usoku or yushi
I say yakusoku and oishii |
yea, but doesent japanese have two different spellings and sayings but means the same thing??? im pretty sure there is....
|
you mean onyomi and kunyomi? I don't know, hopefully riceball or MMM and come and tell us :D
|
im not sure eather, I just know that there are different words that mean the same...
|
ok you are a bit mistake about your words,
Promise: you said - 右側 - うそく - usoku - right side, right hand correct - 約束 - やくそく - yakusoku is the word for promise Yummy/delicious: you said - 油脂 - ゆし - yushi - fats, oils 諭旨 - ゆし - yushi - explanation, reasoning 油紙 - ゆし - yushi - oil paper correct is: 美味い - うまい - umai - delicious 美味しい - おいしい - oishii - delicious and more.. of course there are different words that mean the same thing but your examples were not the case. i'm happy to be proven wrong though. Quote:
this character 流 is read as follows: 流す - ながす - nagasu - to drain, float, shed (tears) 交流 - こうりゅう - kouryuu - intercourse (social/cultural) changing current there are more ways to read this character but it is just an example to give the idea. |
*groan* things are getting a LOT more complicated....
|
I would say so and I can't read japanese though........
|
I think zeldalover misheard the words.
I am not sure what you mean by different spellings and sayings... |
