How many hours would be good?

How many hours do you guys think would be appropriate for studying the Japanese language? A response would be very much appreciated. So far, I usually do two or three hours.

You mean per day ~ ? That's a lot! I just practice new kanji every week during school and that way I learn them fast. I guess spending any amount of time on it per day is best!

I just study until I need to do something else. Mostly is my extra spare time
where I have nothing to do for a few hours. Usually, any amount is good.

When I was in school we studied in class about an hour a day, 5 days a week, and I studied 30-60 mins per day outside of class. Since then I don't really have any structure, so I just try to keep up what I have, watch lots of anime, and get in what I have time for. Good luck studying^_^
