Having trouble with a easy translation
 

I've looked all over other forums and on google, but to no avail.
How do you say I am learning Japanese?
Am I even close? :quesballoon:
Watashi wa gakushu no Nihongo desu.

no,
if you're really attached to the gakushuu word, guess you could say:
私は日本語の学習者です
watashi wa nihongo no gakushuusha desu
i am a learner of japanese...which is meh.
stick with the old stand by
私は日本語を勉強しています
watashi wa nihongo o benkyoushiteimasu.
i am studying japanese
