I think it says: "Well, today we have no news. However, false Penta (an imitation) brought a discussion with Vivian, as expected.

...false Penta brought a discussion with Vivian by chance.
It was to be expected.

It's difficult to translate into English, because we don't know about Penta, as kenshiromusou says.
I understand this context not very much.
