So I'm sure you get this a lot, but i need a translation...
 

My friend is learning japanese and him and I have been trying to translate:'
I lived, learned, loved, and lost
私は住み、学び、愛し、そして失った
that's what we came up with, lol, but that translates:

I lived, learned, dearly, and lost

if i could just replace the dearly with loved I think I'd be good.
do you think any of you could help me out and give me the full translation? thank you all so much!

I am going to make sure he comes back before I formulate a response...but that sentence needs some fixing.
