In simple terms. NA adjectives act like nouns.

Was convenient　べんり　でした

Wasn't convenient　べんり　じゃなかった　です　OR　べんり　じ ゃ　ありません　でした

I have not a clue what any of you are saying. Keep in mind that I know nothing of the Japanese symbols; I'm very novice to all of this.

Here's an example:

Aoi means blue. To express something as 'not blue', you would say 'aoku nai'.
Taisetsu means important. What would I change to express something as 'not important'?

I must thank MMM, I did two years of japanese by myself, had to stop due to exams in my job that I try to pass since two years and these forms (with sha) weren't in my different learning books. So I learnt too tonight! :vsign:

And thanks to Nathan to have corrected me, I lost my eyes and didn't see the tenten on up right of "shi" so I wrote first "sha" or "shanai"!
