Your U looks like a katakana RA.

I think the あ and う definately need improvement. As MMM said, the う looks like ラ and the あ looks quite unnatural. い could do with a slight improvement (make the left stroke curvier) and the お looks pretty okay. Your え looks great, no need for improvement there.

note the curved "cross" and shape of the loop (that kind of resembles の)

They look alright, but you could use a little more practice on a few of them. It`s sometimes hard to get them right if you copy from typed materials as depending on the font they can look quite different from the handwritten form.

There is a good free PDF file you can print out to use for practice here. Also, a direct link to the pdf file in case you can`t find the link on the page (it`s in Japanese).

I second that.

I also think you should practice more, your hiragana looks too... (man I dunno the adjective, damn, how should I put this...the strokes are really, hmmm -.-)

Well, I can write hiragana fast now, you should practice to do that as well, your strokes will get better and more curvy.

Nyororin, I don't suppose you know of a link to a similar .pdf for katakana? I found the hirigana .pdf very useful indeed. Although, I had to cross reference with my study book to make sure I was writing the strokes in the correct order.
