I need help to write a sentence in Japanese
I need to write "AUTO BASE"
and also "high performance import engine parts" I need to know how to write these in KATAKANA and any other writing languages in japanese.. Your help would be much appreciated..:mtongue: Thank you |
Quote:
AUTO BASE = オート・ベース high performance import engine parts: katakana : コウセイノウユニュウエンジンパーツ < very unnatural. hard on the Japanese eye. Natural Japanese: 高性能輸入エンジンパーツ |
thank you Nagoyankee.. appreciated..
is that AUTOBASE translation in natural japanese or in katakana? |
It's both in katakana and natural Japanese. I took it that it was a proper noun. So I didn't 'translate' it. I just transliterated it into katakana as we would transliterate proper nouns like 'Burger King' or 'Pizza Hut' into katakana.
Please ge back if 'AUTO BASE' isn't meant to be a proper noun. |
That's in katakana, but that is how it is said in Japanese.
EDIT: We posted at the same time! |
Thank you both of you..
AUTO BASE is a BUSINESS NAME.. AUTO which stands for Automobile and BASE which stands for WHERE THE COMPANY IS LOCATED.. You have helped me enourmously.. :) |
Now they deserve part of the profits coming from the business :mtongue:
