Is this legible?

Hey, I was wondering if this hiragana handwriting was legible. The reason why I ask is because I can't handwrite english for my life, so I was wondering how my japanese looked...

I think it looks pretty decent.

Kenpachi11 01-30-2009 03:23 AM

Legible? Yes......

Yes it is readable.

However, you need to work on the following:
は(wa/ha) (currently you are getting it confused with ほ(ho))
あ(a)
ッ (small tu)

Lol, thanks for the replies/comments. I also just realized I forgot a う at the end of arigatou. Also, I do know the difference between ha/wa and ho, I guess I just drew it fast that it came out like ho.

Nevermind: I looked at it closer and I did F up the ha's lol

Legible, yes. Good handwriting, no. But that's to be expected from a person new to learning Japanese, so don't worry too much about it. If you haven't been already, make sure you're writing your letters using proper stroke order.

I have a question. Since "ka" makes it a question, isn't a question mark redundant, or something?

Indeed it is, and you`ll often seen question sentences ended with just a 。 rather than a question mark. But it just depends on the writer and the publication.

Oh, ok.

Thank you for answering my question.
