Wasn't it better when 万葉仮名 was still around? So we could have our names in Kanji :) (I doubt so many people would have wanted to learn Japanese tho, by the little I know it was a real mess for non native).

well i wanted to get my name tattooed in some language, and from that site, the kanji version meaning of my name was brilliance and love, and i really liked that, which is why i wanted to tattoo it. but if that's not the right meaning, or right pronounciation, i wouldn't want to tattoo it. so, thank you :)

Bah, nowadays a tattoo is really worth crap. I had 1 for a reason and a meaning...now it is all coz of fashion and look cool. People, I really wish that some of these kids end up tattoing some pretty bad s**t in foreigner characters and get laughed at for it.
