JLPT questionsss

Hellooo. I'm considering taking the Level 4 part of the JLPT sometime soon. Has anyone else taken this part of the test? I'd say I'm somewhere between beginners and intermediate level with kanji and grammar. Also, does the test contain more of the casual or traditional style of grammar? thankssss

umm... I haven't taken the test, but I know I've found sites before that have old exams or "practice questions" for each of the levels. Maybe that would help?

yeah the questions should be very basic..
i think you could score easily in this test..

Here is a random question from a JLPT 4 practice sheet thing. I'm not sure how old this is so it may be different now.

やまださんの けんきゅうしつは ごかいの いちばん てまえです

There will then be 4 options for each of the underlined. The correct answers are below.
1) 研究室
2) 五階
3) 手前

You should note that they try and trick you by showing other options that are similar pronunciation or similar kanji. The other options for the second one include 五回 and 五会 for example.

Just curious, what are your motivations for taking the Level 4 test? I can't think of any reason why taking the JLPT Level 4 would be useful to anyone, since it really only proves you know the most basic knowledge of Japanese. Level 1 and 2 are the ones that are typically looked at by employers or educational institutions.
