People don't talk about feelings in Japan. Japanese can sense how each other are feeling and use 思いやり to communicate. Using words is a very simple and Western concept

Hey I'm new to JF too but I'm not Japanese. I'm going to study abroad there in 2 years and I want to know if there's anything important I should know before I go. You know about the traditions and stuff. I don't want to offend any one.
