my friend would like the name "Steven" in Japanese.
i have found many different options but most of which instead say "steben"
or something along those lines...
could anyone help to give the most accurate translation please?

His own name? People in Japan don't get tattoos of their own names put on them. That would be considered very strange.

If you were a good friend you'd tell him to stop being an idiot. ;)

Very true...

I can't understand why someone would want to get their own name permanently set into their body. I've seen a lot of tattoos, and have asked what significance the names had, and have NEVER heard "Oh, it's my name. I just thought it'd be really cool, and in case I get Alzheimer's, then I'll always know my name." Ridiculous.
