How would i say "i will never give up" - 08-28-2009, 03:38 AM

i am trying to come up with catch phrases for characters in a book i am writing,

the main character's phrase is 'i will never give up'
however, i'd like to know how to say it in Japanese

my computer cannot show kanji, so american/english letters would be ideal,

i apologize for the incovnience, and i give thanks in advance

Is the book in English? >_>

If so, "I will never give up!" would probably be good.

If not, あきらめねぇぞ!would be pretty cool. Go ahead and install the Japanese language pack from your windows disc.

or the main chara could be a weeaboo
=D

In the shadows beneath the trees he waits.
In the darkness under the moon he plots
In the silence of the night he kills.

Hahaha, in that case, it would have to be a horrible translation. Or he could just say "BELIEVE IT" over and over.

SAY SAY SAY ふぉー

PS yuujirou it's "weeaboo," not "weabu." Make sure you get it right, for this is a VERY IMPORTANT POINT!

point taken and corrected xDD

and... if ur novel is american oriented....... it wouldn't make much sense to have the main chara use a japanese phrase over and over again >.>
but then again XD
i don't really even know what the basis of your story is =P

the whole reason i mentiosn the book is simply the fact of 'why do i wanna know'

i myself, would like to know how to say it for personal reasons that wont refelct in how i write, it's simply soemthing I, the writer, want to know how to say myself

but it's been made blatently obvious you guys dont give a care enough to asnwer a simple ho-dio-i questio ncorrectly, one guy did, but my PC cant display Kanji, and as for enabling, well, i would if i had the disc, but i dont so iaskedfor english-letters and still got a kanji-answer

it's simple: i msyelf wanna know how to say "I will never give up" in Japanese for my own personal satisfaction

so one last time, how do i say "I will never give up" in japanese, and ineed it spelt in english letters as well
