I'm taking the JLPT level 2 exam in December.
Who has taken it?
Who has passed it?
Who failed it?

Any hints or tips?

Finally, does anyone know of a proper Japanese language school in Kanto but outside of the Tokyo area?

I'm in Gunma.

Passed. Flashcard the hell out of vocab and kanji, and then try to make sentences out of what you've learned by fitting the new vocab with the new grammar structures you're learning.

You're in Gunma. Get out and talk to people. If you do this, you'll be fine, assuming you've got the 1000ish kanji down, which is, IMHO, the hardest part to pick up just by living there.

You only need 60% to pass. Easy peezy, Japaneezy.
