Would anyone like to be my study partner?

おはようございます、はじめまして。I am currently learning Japanese at the university I am attending and I was wondering if there were any other beginners who would like to study together. Well that is all for now thank you for your time.:ywave: Please feel free to send me a PM, e-mail or an instant message over aim.

Hi all,

I am a beginner at 26 + years of not so intense study! Ok, maybe I know more than I think.

I am more than willing to be a study partner _ I think I need it more!!

みんあさん、はじめまして!

I do not know many kanji, but I am proficient with kana. Kana are very important for beginners. They force you to read the words properly.

Could always set up a study group. Anyone happen to know a good software for this? an instant messenger with a group chat option would work. once people are comfortable with their vocabulary and don't need to scramble for a dictionary every other sentence, move on to voice conversation.

Sorry, but you got hosed on the book. There are so many sites online that have the kana that I think this is the one thing about Japanese you needn't pay anyone to learn.

It's very hard to screw kana up even if you're doing self-study.

Your post was my first time hearing about that, so I had to look into it. All I have to say is that it looks like to be a really great program. I watched most of the video Google put out on it. It looks like has so many great uses, and would be perfect for not only study groups online, but for general chat among friends, companies, and really any group wishing to optimize communication and productivity. I signed up to receive an invite, but not sure if I'll get one any time soon.

Anyway, I had already sent a PM to Seraphic, but I would be willing to help out other people as well with Japanese. I have a rather strong grasp on the basics.
