How to say "share" in Japanese?

For example:

1. share my opinion

2. share my experience

3. share the book that I like (not actually lend the book, but just talk about the book)

All three of your sentences are ambiguous. "share my opinion" can mean "give my opinion to you" or "have the same opinion as me." "Share my experience" does, too.

I don't know what you mean by #3. I'd never use "share" in that way, and I'm a highly educated native speaker whose current and previous jobs depend on precision of language.

It seems very awkward to say "Share the book I like." Do you just mean "Tell you the name of the book that I like"?

SpaceALC is an excellent resource for sample Japanese sentences. Basically, it's a superior "dictionary." More of a highly complex and very organized phrasebook.

The last one makes sense to me. You are sharing what you think of the book.

Also, I could have sworn that this was going to be about how you pronounce 'share' as in 'Oshare" and I was going to kill myself.

分かち合う(わかちあう) = for knowledge and experience.

分け合う（わけあう） = for tangible things such as food and money.

Remember these two and you'll be fine over 95% of the tme.

I don't think "Share the book I like" makes sense unless you include "with XXX."

Edit Actually, now that it's no longer late where I am and I'm refreshed, I think without "with XXX" it would only make sense in the sense of "permit another to possess the book I like as well."

If someone was giving a book report in class and said "I'm going to share the book I like," I would assume the person is not an English speaker. It just sounds awkward. I dunno. Perhaps it's a regional thing.

I am not high educated nor English is my main language, but as far as I know when you share a script with someone (book, diary, notes...) you let that someone be part of your knowledge of the content. So if I say I want to share this book with you, I mean provide you the same knowledge of the content of the book that I have.

But that is away from the OP....I guess the answer he was looking for was given ;)

Actually, you're right. Now that I've seen it in context, it sounds perfectly fine to me.
