[X]のちかく or [X]からちかい

is this a "natural" way of asking Is Osaka Castle near the station?:

1) おおさかじょうはえきのちかくですか

or should i use

2) おおさかじょうはえきからちかいですか

1. It is は, not わ for the topic particle.
2. 近いです is correct grammar. Remember the rule about the "polite" form of い-adjectives: 〜いです, not 〜くです.
美しいです
浅いです
悲しいです

Sorry if I'm overstepping my bounds, but it is probably better to use the general questions thread rather than making a new thread every time you have a question, unless that question can spawn a full topic.

oh yea sry for using わ as the topic marker (i've re-edited the first post)

anyway is it correct structure if i use it as えきちかく, in this sense is the near considered as an adjective too

re jesselt:
sorry which thread is it
