With i-adjectives, your choices are おいしい。 and おいしいです。 There is no third option of おいしいだ。 The plain form is just the adjective. The masu form is adjectiveです.

With na-adjectives, you would use だ, however.

Sorry masaegu san, just realized that you asked if I have a good dictionary. I do have one but it is one that is really long ago "Inoue's smaller Japanese-English dictionary" and it was printed in 1987.
