Hi at all! ;D (Ähm...I need some help^^)

Hi at all!

I'm Nanashi - okay, I'm not Nanashi, that's only a Nickname ;)
Okay, I want you to know something about me: I'm 13 years old,
like reading and want to learn Japanese - but I don't know how!
Can you help me? That would be fantastic!
I'm happy about everyone who posts an answer here :)

And I'm German, so my English isn't very good...
But I'll try to understand everything :D

NG, Nanashi

Check out the subforum for learning Japanese, search the internet, look for some books to learn Japanese, find people who speak Japanese, look if there is a learning course somewhere (maybe not for your age though) and so on... The same basic stuff as for every other language.

Thanks, Lien! I searched allready in the Internet, and everything I found was too expensive or you have to be 15 to go to one of the Japenese-Learning-Course...
I don't know which book I should buy, there are so many ones
I'm here to look for people who can speak Japanese or who are Japanese :D

I know, language courses are expensive everywhere :3
I might start one in september, but I don't have to pay anything because I get money from the government (difficult thing to explain).
Maybe these could get you started : JpPlaza.com - download. I printed one of them but I haven't started yet, but they are pretty good.

Wow, okay, thanks, Lien and protheus!
I'll look at these pages^^. Thanks!

The only problem is, that I'm German...but I found a page with a PDF-Document which starts to explain the first things...
Oh, I didn't mention: I also want to learn how to write Japanese^^.
I think, I'll start to learn something about the "Hiraganga"-Writing and in *counting* in 1 1/2 years I'll go to the Adult Education Center and take a Japanese course :D :rheart:

Well I'm dutch :3
You seem to be able to write pretty good in English, so I thought learning from English to Japanese wouldn't be such a big problem and there are way more e-books and websites in English than in German (same with Dutch). I wish you luck <3

Nanashi 04-04-2011 07:03 PM

@Lien: Okay^^. Mhm...if you would know that I need a dictionairy :D
But I have to practise and the only way to be better in English and to learn Japanese is to practise, so I wrote some Japanese symbols (I hope "symbol" is the right word^^) at my writing pad and in school I was so bored that I took my pad and tried to write the symbols again^^
Ähm...Lien...can we be friends? That would be nice :)

That's the best way (well it is for me) to learn a new alpabet and symbols, just keep on writing them.
Oh ja natürlich! :P

Nanashi 04-04-2011 07:21 PM

Yes, I thought the same, it's the best way^^.
My problem is, that I knew how to write the words, but I can't speak them xD
I'm so stupid xD

Moment, du kannst Deutsch? xD
Okay, danke! Ich füge dich gleich zu den Freunden hinzu <3

Ein bisschen :p

Nanashi 04-04-2011 07:38 PM

That's super! :D
I'm not the only one who can speak German, yeah! xD
Do you learn German at school?

Nanashi

Lien 04-04-2011 07:42 PM

No, I'm in adult school now, 2 years and I'll get my high school diploma, I never had the chance to learn German, maybe in university. German is our thirth language but I just now some basic sentences and I can understand it when people speak it slowly :)
