I loved using smart.fm for Japanese but they closed down and now require monthly dues to use their new program (they even stole volunteer contributions to the site).

Is there any other good alternative?

Any good iPhone apps to learn Japanese terms from specific textbook like Nakama 1A? I've got some good hiragana and katakana ones.
