URGENT! Need help reading Japanese car manual
1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
Please help me. I have a car subaru legacy 1996 model but the manual is in Japanese. Please see attached file. If you could list the numbers with the English translation along side that would be very good. Thanks Si |
Disclaimer: I am not a car guy. Some of these things, I don't know what we call them in English so I translated literally.
NOTE: I think "body earth" here indicates the ground wire. 18 power steering switch 19 idle switch 20 knock sensor signal 21 knock sensor body earth (I think "earth" here is the grounding wire in electricity) 22 cam sensor body earth 23 cam sensor signal 30 axel switch 31 starter switch 32 air conditioning switch 34 crank angle sensor signal 33 crank angle sensor body earth 37 throttle sensor signal 38 throttle sensor supply voltage earth/ground 38 throttle sensor body earth 39 ignition SW+ 40 vehicle speed sensor 41 neutral SW 45 airconditioning sensor body earth 46 "" signal 47 "" power source/supply 55 "" body earth 48 water temp sensor 49 O2 sensor signal 57 O2 sensor body earth 50 exhaust temp sensor 51 pressure sensor signal 52 pressure sensor source 53 ? connects sensor to earth??????? 1 ignition signal #1 2 ""#2 3 ""#3 4 ""#4 113 ? connects ignition to earth???? 7 radiophone relay 2 9 some type of solenoid (supercharger pressure regulation solenoid?) 10 airconditioning relay 12 atmosphere pressure (absolute?) exchange/switching solenoid???? 13 check engine light (I grew up saying "light," but this manual says "lamp") 15 radiophone relay 1 25 engine rev signal 111 ISC bulb OPEN 112 ISC bulb CLOSE 101 injector 1 102 injector 2 103 injector 3 104 injector 4 134 exhaust sound _??_ lamp 105 injector ?? body earth 106 injector ?? body earth 121 some body earth (regulator?) 122 some body earth (regulator?) ~~ Now, if some other, rude, entitled person sees that I helped OP out without asking him to try first: I did it this time because it was interesting and I felt like it because I had some free time and sometimes you get a feeling that the person doesn't speak Japanese at all. |
Thanks for your help
I really appreciate it. Perhaps you have helped somebody else in the same predicament.
