random phrase

this one might not be seen in everyday life, but it's still interesting:

良い子は決してマネしては行けません。Please don't do this at home, kids!

corrections

Hey, I spotted some mistakes that was posted earlier.

Code:

Omedatau gozaimasu - congratulation
Omedetou gozaimasu - congratulation

As posted earlier by 82riceballs:
Quote:

 平気,平気。 heiwa, heiwa. I'm fine.
That should be heiki, heiki and not heiwa, heiwa.

For those who are learning the language, kindly note corrections. Thanks.

82riceballs 07-05-2007 06:48 PM

sorry abt the mistake of "heiwa" instead of "heiki" :o i fixed it.

here's some more phrases (i hope i don't make another mistake..XD)
1)お手洗いはどこですか。o-tearai wa doko desu ka. Where's the bathroom? (とっても有用だよ!)
2)A: おこってる? okotte'ru? Are you angry?
B: おこってないよ。okotte'nai yo. No [not angry]
3)なにいてんの。nani iten no. What are you saying? [What do you mean!!!]
4)なにしてんの。nani shiten no. What are you doing?
5)大嫌い!! dai kirai!! I hate you!!
6)ところで... tokorode... by the way...
7)たしかに... tashika ni... certainly...; it's definitely true that...
8)すげえ[adj] suge- [adj] extremely [adj]. e.g. あんた、すげー幼いだ。You've been extremely childish.
9)うるせーなブス urusee na busu bossy old hag!
This one isn't a phrase, but it's good grammar:
10) AはBより〜[です]。 A wa B yori ~ [desu]. A is more ~ than B. ~ is an adjective. e.g. 姉は私より利口です。ane wa watashi yori rikou desu. My older sister is smarter/cleverer than me.

じゃあ、また
