Can some one write this in japanese for me please
"I want to die in the rain so no one see's my tears"
I have a buddy that wants that as a tattoo. Thanks guys and gals. |
im not sure if that sentence could be written using only kanji...if not, it would be a lil bit painful for your friend since there would be many characters.

Quote:
涙を見せないように、雨の中で死にたい。 Your friend can expect scratching heads and stifled giggles. Samurai and yakuza don't cry. |

Let me correct the line
" i want to die in the rain so no one can see my tears" That is the correct line. |

We do see kanji in a lot of tattoos...usually inked on westerners. Traditional Japanese tattoos aren't words or characters, but are art. Traditional demons, flowers, samurai, etc. That's not to say it shouldn't be done. 力: power 愛: love 家族: family all make nice tattoos in my opinion (though aren't seen traditionally, are seen more in modern tattoos...) Beyond that your friend's idea, though as nice as it is, is translatable into Japanese, but isn't a Japanese concept. People that get tattoos in Japan (samurai, yakuza, bikers) don't talk about crying. I mean it's one thing to talk about it, and another to ink it onto your skin for life. You know how we can laugh at Japanese ads or t-shirts with funny Engrish? Think of that in reverse... |
