Windows Japanese IME
 

I have a problem. I had previously installed the windows IME for Japanese and it worked fine. Suddenly one day the toolbar made itself..smaller. Whenever I went to select Japanese as a language instead of all the options you usually get I simply got the JP for Japanese, a question mark for help and small buttons to toggle caps and kana. The problem is I am not able to toggle hiragana and it only types in katakana. Also the kanji thing doesn't pop up.

Can anyone help me?

Right-click on the bar, "Restore the Language bar".
Try this, all the options should be avaliable now. But if still things don't go right, for example you type in hiragana and kanjis don't show up, probably there are more problems...

its still the same except disconnected from the toolbar.


edit: i messed with some setting and after restarting it all came back, thanks for the help.

Yay now you can talk to me in hiragana on msn :D
