How to say this sentence?
First time here!
How do you say "You're horrible at responding to e-mails!" ? Mike |
Who are you writing to?
i ask because a sentence like that is a can EASILY be taken the wrong way. Like you are very angry. Unless you actually are really angry. |
I'm not very angry. It's a friend and I am a little bit annoyed but not angry. :)
|
もっと早く返事してほしい。
This means "I wish you would write back quicker." |
That's a bit more serious than what I'm looking for. I want to emphasize that her replying to emails is horrible. ie, forgets often or does it slowly.
|
What you are asking for sounds a lot more serious than what I gave you.
|
Well from a guy girl dating sort of view that sounds a little desperate to me. I guess I didn't describe the situation enough.
I feel like I can joke around with her easily saying why are you so horrible at replying to emails rather straight up saying than I want you to respond to emails faster. I was thinking something: なんでメールに返事するのがそんなに And then what is the right word here I wonder. わるい、へたくそ、よくない But none of those really feels right to me. |
See, that's why I asked what the relationship was in the first place...
よくない or へた should work. |
I apologize for my lack of description!
|
No problem. Relationships are defined by language and vice versa in Japanese, and it's easy for non-Japanese to cross delicate lines.
And I would never say anything my Japanese girlfriend did was へたくそ |
