Passive / Causative
Hi everyone,
I'm currently learning all the different ways of conjugating Japanese verbs. I am learning this from a dictionary and it insists on only using the technical terms for everything without any examples. After much difficulty I have worked everything out except 3 conjugations as below: Using the verb はなす はなされる - Passive はなさせる - Causative はなさせられる - Causative Passive Does anybody understand the difference between these conjugations and please provide a few more examples. This is a really painful thing to learn, thanks in advance!!! |
This page explains the two forms (and their combination) quite well:

Awesome,that explains it perfectly.

Frankly speaking, you ought to be getting yourself a good japanese guidance book instead of doing it the hard way, that is through a dictionary.
Any one who is serious in learning a foreign language should get at least a good book for reference..... besides watching anime, listening jpop, seaching wikis and online websites. |
