I read the wikipedia articles on Ju-on and Ju-on 2....I am so glad I've never watched it. Just reading it has guaranteed a week of no sleep >.<

Heh heh... Supernatural films are sometimes the funniest. Depends on how well you can deal with horror.

Back when Gakko no Kaidan was popular the intro was enough to have me curl up in a ball screaming for my grandma to come change the channel or turn the tv off because I was too busy covering my ears >.<

I think it's the mentality of I fear what I can't control. If a serial killer was after me, even with torture death would eventually release me. With supernatural things, death might make things worse (depending on what your afterlife beliefs are)

I have yet to watch a Japanese horror flick besides The Ring, mainly because they're so damn good at it.

the ring isnt a japanese movie its a remake of one watch ringu its the original and its way better
