hmm i remember downloading ichi the killer, its not really a horror its just gross and funny at times. theres also the moment where u cant watch anymore but u have to

Ichi the Killer is an immense film by a great director and all his work has that kind of reaction i believe.
As you watch it then whilst watching it your like wow this is quite gross (think to yourself how did this make it on to dvd) but keep watching, then he usually adds in some sadistic scenes and your like omg omg turn this off, but keep watching then it ends and your like wow pretty good film.

Try watching Visitor Q, you will understand entirely what i mean :D

Japanese horror movies? Ooh, me like!
The first one I saw was Ju On 2. Then sometime after seeing the second I saw the first. I think they are less gory but more scary on a psychologial level. And there's some sort of fetiche with hair in a lot of Asian horror movies, which freaks me out a bit, if I see a hair in my food I am not able to continue eating.

Japanese horror is better than American horror.
I'm the kind of girl that usually laughs at horror movies [weird, but true], but Japanese ones actually scare me.
American ones are just.. While.. Suck-ish.

@ Aota....

Oh. I must have missed someone posting about Three Extremes. I liked it, but it's really quite odd.

Suicide Club is one I want to see.

about Uzumaki Club... not wanting to be spoiled, but tangled up how?

I've seen The Eye, The Eye 2, but not The Eye 10 yet. Til recently I didn't even know it existed.

It's just Uzumaki, not Uzumaki Club. :P Well, it's a few stories. This one is about lovers whose parents feud over things, stupid things, and forbid them to see each other. One day, while hiding, they see two snakes coil around each other. The girl thinks they're fighting, but the boy reassures her, and tells her they are making love. They themselves wrap their arms together, and they swirl and swirl around each other, but the parents call, and they go their separate ways. The boy is seen with a twisted torso later that night. Anyway, the rest of what happens is basically the ending, so I won't say anymore, unless you want me to.

The Eye 10 is basically a few mischievous young adults wants to see ghosts. One of them buys a book translated as The Ten Encounters, hence the film's name, and they read, and try out the ways. Two of them were already done by the previous two films. The ending is weird.

I have also recently seen an American movie that has a couple of cool stories. Not scary, but kinda cool. And a bit ironic. It's called Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror. It was the "secret" ninth film in the "8 Films To Die For" festival in 2007 or 2006. I don't remember. But in personal opinion it's worth checking out if you liked Snoop Dogg in Bones.

oh... oops... sorry.:o

that seems very weird, but interesting. I'll have to see if my video store has it. Nah, I'll see how it ends when I can either rent or buy it.

well, I like weird, so I'll definitely have to see it.

I've never seen him in Bones. I'm not a big fan of his.

Aota 06-13-2008 08:58 PM

Heh. You should at least see him in Hood of Horrors.

It's about this man and woman who get married, and I think his parent's die or something and they move into there Mansion. It has ghost's in it or w/e because there family steals the souls of babies and put's them in a jar, to eat or something? I don't know, my mom was telling me about it and said it was REALLY creepy. It was on Japanese Horror night, on Comcast.. Sunday nights.
