Battle Royal was a great movie, original for me and daring. A movie that has you caring for the characters and after that they get brutally murdered, AWESOME!!! Casshern was oke for me, but it didn't really appeal to me. It just wasn't for me.

I just started watching japanese movie recently, so I have allot of catching up to do. I just watching Sonny Chiba's Bullfighter and Killing Machine, got a few others lined up... Next up is Bearfighter :punchbear:
I've also just started on the Zatoichi movie series with Katsu Shintaro, awesome movies!! I have allot more movies lined up, lucky me!!! :vsign:

Ichi the killer is not only my favorite j-movie, its my all time favorite movie!

Battle Royale. I was so (and am now) obsessed with the movie that I bought two copies of the film (normal and directors cut). I then became obsessed with the manga series and am now going to buy them all and the novel, along with other BR merchandise, if I can get my grubby hands on 'em (I want a BR shirt and the BR card game!)

If you really like the Battle Royale movie, you should absolutely buy the book too. The book is AMAZING.
