The Death Note (both anime and movies). Also I like some movies, made by Akira Kurosawa, e.g. 7 samurai and Yojimbo. I think they are classics in a way. Kikujiro's Summer by Takeshi Kitano is a very touching one. The Great Teacher Onizuka series are very meaningful to me (didn’t like the anime though).

As a whole, I was not thrilled with Shinobi, but the visuals for the movie are incredibly beautiful and I can just still and watch the scenery in it over and over.

I saw a little of Shinobi at a kiosk at the mall that sells Asian films.

I feel the same about it. The visuals and scenery are the best parts.

Though I do find the guy with the long hair rather attractive.

But the acting? meh.

I really am into Kurosawa. And Rashomon's a very good film then?
I've been considering at least renting it to start.

Yes, if you like Kurosawa, you will love Rashomon.

I'm definitely going to check it out then.

Thank you. :)
