Well... Asian horror is where it is at. Hollywood wants to snatch up all the good ones to make a buck... And they'll cast whoever is big. I just simply avoid them now...

Of course. Anything that will keep them on top of their little world. They will take anything and twist it till we want more. That is the way of life (in the movie production)

Anybody watch Gozu? It is confusing as all hell, but an amazing movie. I recommend it if you can handle some weird weird stuff.

The Japanese film makers tell a less sugar coated story, but thats what makes their films so great! They arn't scared to be scared.
I agree 100 percent ^_^ .That's why my movie shelf Is nothing but Japanese ,Korean and chinese movies Besides my animes lol .(I couldnt have put it better myself )

I was watching Tales Of Terror on the AZN channel. And then watched Suicide Club on Imaginasian. Tales Of Terror is a bunch of 20-30 minute stories of Japanese horror. Kinda like the Crypt Keeper of Japan.

Anyways, it was really great. I was kinda scared on some of them. That's never happened to me before when watching horror movies.

All I can say is, America sucks with horror... >.>

Oh! Tales of Terror from Tokyo? I love watching those~ I hope to buy all the DVDs and the movie soon (Though I haven't been able to see many.. only the movie and two of the DVDs worth of episodes).

Suicide Club is pure love~ Not scary, but cool.

I love the one about the guy who has to answer every time his name is called. And when he doesn't, he's visited by a giant, I think, yurei? It's so cool, and that's the one that scared me. xD If you have Comcast, just tune in to channel 237, I think for you, and voila. There's a ghost fest for the AZN channel right now. There's a movie? o.o I thought it was just a bunch of minisodes... >.> The wisp of smoke one was strange. But the one about the dead nurse haunting the high school student was great too.

And yeah. I bought that movie. It's teh sex. Especially that one guy named Genesis. I loved that little song he played. "Because the dead. Because the dead. Because the dead shine all night long."
