I always liked Rodan.

^ I never understood Rodan. How does Rodan destroy things? Flying by a building a Mach 2 would shatter glass but not destroy the building. Also, he never really fights on a Monster Vs Monster match. Rodan flies around until someone stomps him!

They should have gave Rodan a a ray beam or something to make him stronger.

Yes. We have someone who knows the real pronunciation! I wonder why in English it turned into: God - zilla? Easier to pronounce with added 'd'?

Mothra puts up a pretty good fight.

One thing I wonder about is whether godzilla is evil or just cranky.

It depends on the era. The original was destructive but neutral, like a natural disaster. Later, Godzilla became a friend to kids and had this stupid cute face. but the recent Godzilla movies depict him as Evil, bad to the bone.

Mothra is another one I don't get. It has no offensive weapons. Turn on a big street light and Mothra is out of the picture!
