I just read this on here and then JameWorld. I had just gotten to this site's home page and seen that the Versailles thread had been updated for the first time in a long time and was excited, so I viewed it and was absolutely shocked and began to cry. This is too horrible. I also can't believe that this has happened. One site said he was only 30. I had been praying for him to get better since I heard that he was sick, hoping that he would get better soon. Now I must watch videos, look at pictures, and listen to music while knowing that one of the members is no longer with us, just like with Malice Mizer knowing that Kami passed away ten years ago. It is very painful and sad.

I wish that I had had the opportunity to have met him. I hope that his family, friends, and bandmates are able to overcome their grief soon, and even more that Jasmine You rests in peace and is in a better place now.

Jasmine You, I hope you are happy in Heaven right now. I love you as a fan and will miss you horribly. Versailles will never be the same.

I just saw someone's post about this, on myspace. I thought surely it had to be an error.
But now I see it isn't.

I'm just in shock.

I've never been a fan, but its sad what happened. R.I.P Jasmine. :(

I want to know what happened. But more, I wish there weren\'t anything to know.

I just wish it were an error as I had first thought, when I saw someone\'s post about it.

I am not going to imagine a Versailles with someone else playing bass.

I was probably the first foreigner to see Jasmine perform live; even before JRock Gord!!!. It was back in 2000 at the AREA livehouse in Takadanobaba area of Tokyo. I was a newbie VK fan and I really liked Jakura. I went to their lives often, and often snapped photos. Jasmine was my favourite of the group. I remember reading in a Shoxx interview how the band dreamed of becoming "major", which at the time was quite difficult for VK bands; Dir en grey and NeiL spring to mind as two that did.

So it was with great sadness that I learned of Jasmine\'s passing this weekend past. With Versailles, the success he had so dearly wanted was within his grasp. Indeed, with the year 2009 his time had arrived, though sadly no one could have predicted that "his time" might have meant something else. Jasmine, you will be missed. Thanks for the memories of 2000, 2001 and more!!! We love you and will not forget you.

Cameron.
