that's true..there is a lot of fun in learning a new language. I'm just so excited to take up German; I know I'll be laughing (and having people laugh at me) just trying to speak the phrases!!

Yep, there is. Ah. I tried learning German once. It's not super difficult. But it's a very guttural langauge, isn't it?

I'm part German..... but I don't think I will besome fluent in that language.

it's a little gutteral, but not too much so ;) I was going to try my hand at Dutch, but I'm not sure I could tackle that one ~_^ and I've just put off trying to learn Gaelic; I learned a couple phrases, but the pronunciations of the words are WAY different than how the words are spelled T_T

I won't try speaking Gaelic, but I like knowing the words. I just think it would twist my tongue, figuratively.

Dutch is similar to Finnish and German, but I've also heard it's more difficult to learn. O_o And yeah, Gaelic can sound very beautiful but also very difficult.

XD yeah...I went through this whole Celtic phase and I was so amped up to learn the language, but I went on to a lesson site, I just stopped after about a day >_< would take a lot of time to get down basics and whatnot.
