Even if some posts talk about comparison between Slipknot and Metallica, Slipknot IS still the part of the discussion, so I wouldn't call it of-topic.

To state that he dislikes Slipknot, simple as that. It's still on topic. So he has a differing opinion, it's within his rights.

Why do you have a tendancy to jump down people's throats? I've only read your last two posts in here and that's a pretty obvious trait.

On topic...

My personal opinion is that Slipknot has a few good songs, mostly their older ones, but that Corey Taylor was better in Stone Sour, and he's better still when with Apocalyptica. Of course, that was for only one song, but that one song was better than any song he's made with either band yet.

I'm an Apocalyptica fan, though, so my opinion is a little biased, lol.

I think she is talking about insulting and using profanity. If that keeps up either the thread disappears or people go on vacation. It's up to you guys.

It's a nice way of saying temp-ban. When I use those words I get accused of throwing my weight around too much.

I must say i have seen them once they were great and a whole lot of moshing and blood . Good times.

But I like duality and Vermillion PT 2 and a few others of which i can not remember at the moment.

It's kinda hard to catch the good one's here in Oklahoma :vsign: i would love to seem a second round but mostly country groups come through.

Because I hate metallica they are old and terrible.

Actually older bands are those who make the best music. These new artists make the usual catchy rhythm, nothing special. Colosal acts, like Metallica's previous albums have never been made this generation, and that includes Slipknot.

When I judge a heavy metal band, I check their talent, especially the instrumental side. Metallica is by far a lot more talented than these new bands. Kirk Hammet is arguably the best guitarist in the history of Heavy Metal, James Hetfield is for the vocal side and the drummer is incredibly awesome.

Slipknot beats Metallica in none of these areas, they only beat them at being a showoff for teenagers... instead of giving great music.

When Slipknot will die, their music will die with them. While Metallica's music will stay forever and ever, a symbol of heavy metal and an inspiration for upcoming bands.

Heavy Metal started with Black Sabbath and Metallica perfectioned it. Nothing else Matters ;)

its a habit and he has the right but its pointless i mean read the first post its about liking it not weither you hate it or not, and the reason why i jumped at aniki like that was because i didn't read the other posts like a dipshit its a hard habit to break, and i didn't know Corey was part of Apocalptica but then agian i don't listen much of them but i know Joey Jordison is in with Korn
