Acid Black Cherry!
I made sure that there wasn't already a thread for them before I posted this, so I hope no one gets cranky with me.
But I'm surprised that there isn't a thread for them yet! Come on people! If you don't know who Acid Black Cherry is, they're Yasu from Janne da Arc's new band and they're reallyyyyy incredible! They're rapidly becoming one of my favorite bands. Look them up on YouTube or some other music site if you don't know who they are. Acid Black Cherry is a band with Yasu, the vocalist who was originally part of the group Janne Da Arc, and he has several famous artists in Acid Black Cherry. These artists include SHUSE (formerly of La'cryma Christi, currently of Samurai Dead City), YUKI (formerly of Aucifer, currently of DUSTAR-3), Chisato (PENICILLIN, Crack6), Sugizo (formerly of LUNA SEA), and several others.

I love Yasu, his voice is very unique
I enjoyed Recreation lots~it really got me calm, not a sleepy calm but a I'm so calm I bet I could paint some fruit right now calm. *hugz* fan! |

I love Yasu too (obviously) and I agree with you--he has one of the most unique voices in the JRock scene. I really adore him, and I'm glad his career continued about Janne Da Arc, because I loved that band so much. It's nice to meet more fans! ^.^ woohoo. |

Well, I'd say go to YouTube and watch their PVs. Besides the songs being absolutely fantastic, their videos are really unique and interesting. Also, if you can't find their music anywhere else, go to IMEEM - what's on your playlist? and get an account there. You can find a lot of J-music on there and it's free. You just have to be a member to listen to some of their stuff. My personal favorite song by Acid Black Cherry is Koi Hitoyo :) but they have a lot of good ones. |

Well, they're a pretty new band, so it's not surprising that you haven't heard of them. Have you heard of Janne da Arc though? The singer Yasu is now the singer for Acid Black Cherry.

I love those ones too! I love the videos too, they often tell a funny story too. Have you seen 20th century boys? I like that vid a lot:) I love love love Yasu's voice.

ABC! :D I love the PV where they come into an audition dressed as akiba geeks. (Black magic, I think?). First heard of them last year; glorious stuff! So sad I never got to see them live.

I've been into ABC since July '09. The first song i heard by them was 20th Century Boys on Cure Rock Radio, and i loved it. I decided to look the video up, and then i looked up some of their other stuff like Black Cherry, Fuyu no Maboroshi... <3 My favorite song of theirs is Sins ^^ |
