one of the SKA bands i like is Liptones they have made some good songs one of em: YouTube - The Liptones - Beautiful Day as for punk.. i listen to alot of swe and eng punk and some US cant say i got a favband like all that gets played within my 4 walls :P a few i like: Toy dolls, anti nowhere league, rancid, cock sparrer, cockney rejects, dropkick murphys, casualties, liptones, some of the clash songs, perkele, gatans lag.. |

Grew up listening to the Sex Pistols, among other things. Would really like to know some decent JPN Punk/Ska bands though.

I'm a big fan of second wave Ska. Bands like Madness, the Specials and the English Beat early Police. I like some of the third wave and revival stuff especially the Bosstones and No Doubt (yes I like No Doubt).
Going to see English Beat and Reel Big Fish in July. A cool Japanese Ska band Maryann. I got to see them at a live house in Nakano where one of the other bands on the bill did a cover of 99 Red Balloons.
