Speaking of just Ny Ive tracked down a few places that sell jrock, including these kinda hidden stores in Chinatown which sounds cool. But I think many stores sell it cheaper than if i were to order a new CD off of an online store. In California Ive heard its a bit easier because being closer to Japan it has more contact and exposure than NY

If you are buying in Chinatown and the price is significantly cheaper, then understand you are probably buying a knock-off CD which will likely have a lower sound quality compared to a legit purchase.

I was kind of thinking the same thing... if you're looking for the real deal I would totally recommend book off.

If they're cheap, they're most likely bootleg (and you do NOT wanna purchase bootleg copies). IF you decide to check out their supply, you should look for the publisher of the albums.. Are they the SAME distributor as on the official website; stay far away from bootleg companies like Miya Records and alike.

Also.. online stores are usually the cheapest - cdjapan.co.jp and yesasia.com can definitely be recommended.

Hot Topic and Hastings carry a few JRock CD's.
